The auditorium is located on the main campus of Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and is named after Dr. Grady Gammage, President of Arizona State University from 1933 to 1959. The venue has a seating capacity of 3,017, with a stage that can be used for Broadway musicals, dramatic productions, opera shows, smaller productions, recitals and lectures. The building was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
